Applications are open to submit applications for the Hohai University CSC Scholarship 2024-25 in China. All International students from all across the globe are eligible to apply for the Hohai University Scholarship.


 Chinese Government Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship that is provided by the Ministry of Education in China. You can apply to be considered for a master's Degree Scholarship or PhD Degree Scholarship in China. There is no application fee to apply for the CSC Scholarships at Hohai University. 


All majors and academic fields are offered at Hohai University under Chinese Government Scholarships for Postgraduate Degrees. This scholarship will pay for all expenses.

Hohai University was established in 1915. It is a research institution located in Nanjing, China under the direct control of the Ministry of Education of China.

Documents Required:

In order to apply to be considered for the Hohai University CSC Scholarship in China will require the these documents:

  • Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (filled in Chinese or English).
  • A copy of the Physical Examination Form for foreigners (filled in Chinese or English). Note: Applicants should strictly follow the requirements of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The "Foreigner Physical Examination Form" that is incomplete and does not include a photo of the applicant or is not sealed by a rider seal and not stamped or signed by a doctor or hospital is not valid. The results of the inspection are valid for six months. Bring the original report when making your registration.


  • Notarized proof of undergraduate or above (texts that are not in Chinese as well as English must be supported by notarized translations of the text in Chinese or English. Fresh graduates must submit a pre-graduation. (Certificate).
  • Notarized transcription (texts that are not in the languages of Chinese as well as English must be with notarized Chinese or English translations).
  • Recommendation letters: Recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors (Chinese or English).
  • Plan of study or research for China (written in Chinese or English at least 800 words);
  • Research results copied in a copy. Catalogues of abstracts or abstracts of papers that have been published award certificates, etc.
  • Copy of the language (Chinese or English) test transcript. Students who are applying for Chinese teaching languages must have at least HSK level 4 or higher (the certificate lasts for two years). applicants applying for English teaching in the field of language as well as applicants who speak English, need to provide an IELTS 5.5 or better, TOEFL a transcript that has a score of or more or any other evidence of your English level.
  • A photocopy of a valid passport. For applicants from mainland China must also present an original copy of the Visa page or Residence Permit page.


Note: The above materials should be uploaded and scanned onto the online application system after which they should be bound into an amount (two copies) in a particular order, and then sent to the Lanzhou University International Cultural Exchange College. If required the school may require applicants to submit additional materials that have not been cleared or insufficient and cannot be accepted. All materials, regardless of whether they are accepted or not returned, will not be accepted.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Non-Chinese citizens in good mental and physical health.
  • Age and degree requirements The students who are seeking a master's degree must have a bachelor's or master's degree and be at least 35 years old. Candidates for doctoral degrees must have an advanced degree and be less than 40.
  • Excellent marks and outstanding ability to conduct scientific research.
  • Other scholarship recipients are not eligible for HTML0.
  • Requires a Chinese proficiency test (HSK) at level 4 or higher (Valid for two years).
